LUCID number deposited with online marketplaces

The law firm IT-Recht-Kanzlei informs that generally online marketplaces, i.e. in addition to Amazon and eBay also etsy, Hood, Kasuwa, Kaufland and others, are obliged from 1 July 2022 to check whether their traders act in conformity with the Packaging Act.

Publishers and bookshops must register with LUCID

All publishers and bookshops that send packaged goods to end customers must register in the LUCID packaging register. What is also new is that intermediaries or publishing house distributors must ask their customers to register, otherwise neither books nor other goods could possibly be shipped in conformity with the law from 1 July 2022.
